Subscription cancellation

Effective 7 September 2026

Paid subscriptions are not active during the free beta. This policy is prepared for launch review.

This policy explains the practical cancellation rules for paidQuercusQuote subscriptions. The service is currently offered to businesses only and this policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

Cancel at any time

The workspace owner may switch off automatic renewal at any time in the secure billing portal or by emailing support@quercusquote.app. There is no cancellation fee and no limited cancellation window.

When cancellation takes effect

Unless an accepted order expressly states a minimum commitment, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for. You retain normal access until that date and no further monthly or annual renewal is taken. Cancel before the renewal is processed to avoid the next charge.

Trials

A trial can be cancelled before its stated end date to prevent the first subscription charge. The trial length, conversion date and price will be shown before activation.

Refunds

Subscription fees already paid are not normally refunded or credited for a partly used billing period. We will correct duplicate or incorrect charges, honour any express written refund commitment and provide any refund required by applicable law. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Data when the subscription ends

Export the business workspace from Account before access ends. We provide a reasonable post-cancellation opportunity to request an export, then delete or anonymise live workspace data in accordance with the Privacy Notice, subject to records we must retain for tax, security, dispute or legal purposes.

Reactivation and plan changes

A scheduled cancellation may be reversed before the paid period ends where the billing portal permits it. Upgrades or downgrades are shown before confirmation; unless stated otherwise, downgrades apply from the next renewal.
